Sinn Féin TD Padraig Mac Lochlainn and Cllr Jack Murray, have welcomed the announcement today from the North's First and Deputy First Minister that the A5 Dual Carraigeway will be built with the sections between Derry and Strabane and Omagh and Aughnacloy due to go to construction before the end of the year. Sinn Féin councillor Jack Murray has said that Labour Senator Jimmy Harte should apologise for his inflammatory remarks which stated that he would pay for a Polish National's flight home.
