The Seamus Harvey SinnFein Cumann was formed in 1974 in memory of IRA Volunteer Seamus Harvey who was residing in Ballybofey at the time of his premature death. Seamus, who was only 22 years old at the time died alongside 18 year old Gerard McGlynn from Castlederg in a premature explosion at Kilclean on the Donegal/Castlederg Border on the 10th August 1973. Their deaths inspired future generations of republicans in Donegal and Tyrone to carry and make the dream of a united Ireland and an end to partition a reality. This weekend, we remember their lives with love and pride"
