Comdt. Neil 'Plunkett' Boyle, was the last man to be killed in the Civil War, being shot dead by Free State soldiers. Eoin Boyle died on Hunger strike in Newbridge Internment Camp, aged 21. Mary McBride and Capt. Con 'Beezer' Boyle died shortly after release from prison, due to the harsh conditions they were held in.
